Rhinoplasty Revision

What is Rhinoplasty Revision?

Have you undergone a rhinoplasty procedure in the past, but are not happy with your results? We understand that this can be frustrating and stressful, which is why we offer rhinoplasty revision to help meet your aesthetic goals. Rhinoplasty revision is performed to correct a previous rhinoplasty procedure.

Rhinoplasty revision can be performed to correct the following:

  • Asymmetry.
  • Lack of cartilage and support.
  • A crooked nose.
  • A drooping columella.
  • Breathing issues.
  • An unattractive nasal tip.
  • And more.

Candidates for Rhinoplasty Revision

Individuals who are not satisfied with their original rhinoplasty results can often benefit from a revision rhinoplasty procedure. Ideal candidates are physically healthy, nonsmokers who have realistic goals for the improvement of their noses. To learn more about candidacy, please contact our office today to schedule a consultation.

The Procedure

Rhinoplasty revision is performed under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis, so you can return home to recover.

This procedure is performed through an open or closed surgical approach, similar to a regular rhinoplasty. During a closed approach, incisions are created inside of the nose, while an open approach involves an incision between the nostrils. In some cases, extra cartilage may be needed to create structural support for the bridge or tip of the nose. This cartilage is often collected from other areas of the body including the ear and rib. The doctors at North Valley Cosmetic Surgery will correct your nose using the necessary approaches, which may include rebuilding tissues, treating humps or bumps, removing bone and cartilage, or more.

Testimonials

“I have been a Botox patient for years and had my breast augmentation done as well. The doctor wasn't the typical doctor. He actually sat down and spent time with me making sure I fully understand everything and made me feel less anxious. The office is well kept and the staff was very quick and informative! I would recommend this place to everyone.”
