What are Laser Treatments?
Did you know that the word laser stands for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation? A laser uses a single wavelength of high-energy light to achieve the desired effects. Today, lasers can be used for many aesthetic treatments to improve the look and feel of the skin.
Overall, there are two different types of lasers, including ablative and non-ablative. Ablative lasers remove the top layers of damaged skin, while non-ablative lasers do not damage the top layers, but work in the deeper layers of the skin. They both stimulate collagen production to help renew the skin for a visible improvement.

Laser Resurfacing:
This treatment uses highly-concentrated beams of light energy to improve the skin’s texture, tone, look and feel. Laser resurfacing can be used to treat uneven skin tone, tighten the skin, and remove surgical or acne scars.
