What is BBL Light Treatment?

The Procedure
During a BBL treatment, a cooling gel will be applied to the treatment area, as well as a topical anesthetic and you will be asked to wear safety goggles to protect your eyes. The BBL handpiece will then be moved across your skin, emitting a spectrum of wavelengths to target the skin’s deeper layers. This will stimulate collagen production and eliminate pigmented skin cells. During the treatment, you may feel the pulses of the light, as well as mild discomfort. This procedure usually takes about 30 minutes to complete.
Recovery
Following your BBL light treatment, you may experience temporary redness, burning, or warmth similar to a sunburn. You will want to be gentle with your skin as it heals and avoid exfoliants, loofahs, and rubbing on your skin. There is no downtime needed, so you can feel free to resume your normal routine.
