Labiaplasty
What is Labiaplasty?
Do yoga pants, leggings, or bikini bottoms make you feel self-conscious? A labiaplasty is a surgical technique that lowers the size of the labia minora (inner tissues) to make them flush with the labia majora (outer genitalia). Candidates for Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that uses one of the following surgical techniques to improve the appearance and functionality of the exterior female genitalia:
Trim Procedure
The trim procedure is most commonly used, and it is the original technique for labiaplasty. Excess or hanging tissue on the labia minora is removed and then the remaining tissue is sutured so that it is flush with the labia major.
Wedge Procedure
The wedge labiaplasty procedure is beneficial for women with large labial structures. A wedge-shaped section of tissue is removed from the thickest part of the labia minora to give the vagina a natural look
and maintain the wrinkled edges.
Barbie Procedure
A Barbie labiaplasty involves a total reduction of the labia minora (inner lips) of the vagina. The procedure also helps move the labia majora (outer lips) of the vagina closer together.

Labiaplasty recovery is relatively short, and most women can return to work within one week or less. Swelling, bruising, and minor bleeding are common, but bleeding and bruising will stop in about a week and most of the swelling will have reduced in 6 weeks. During this 6-week recovery period, wear loose-fitting pants and avoid all strenuous activity, including sexual activity.
