The Treatment
At our office, we offer hair transplantation and other options to address your thinning hair.
Hair Transplantation: A hair transplant is a surgery that moves hair that you already have to fill in areas that are thinning or have no hair. Your scalp will first be cleaned, and then a numbing medication will be injected. There are two methods that can be used to transplant the hair including follicular unit strip surgery (FUSS) or follicular unit extraction (FUE). Once hair follicles are collected, the surgeon will create holes or slits and delicately place each graft into the holes. This process can take anywhere from 4-8 hours.

Recovery may differ depending on the type of hair restoration treatment you chose to receive. Our team will provide you with specific aftercare instructions to ensure that you heal properly for the best results.
There is no downtime required following PRP for hair loss, so you can return to your daily activities right away. However, we do advise that you avoid excessive exercise for the rest of the day of your treatment.
After hair transplantation, your scalp will be tender and you will have bandages on your scalp. Antibiotics or anti-inflammatory medications may also be prescribed. Most people can return to work after 2-5 days. After a couple of weeks, the transplanted hair will all out and new growth will happen within a few months. After 6-9 months most people can see 60% of their new hair growth.
