The Treatment
To begin your dermaplaning treatment, you will lie down on the treatment bed or chair. Next, a special scalpel will be held at a 45-degree angle and scraped gently over your skin to eliminate unwanted dead skin cells, hair, dirt, and other debris. This process usually takes 20-30 minutes to complete.

After your session, a skin-soothing substance will be applied to the skin, as well as sunscreen. There is no downtime required, so you can return to your regular activities right away. However, be sure to be cautious when it comes to sun exposure, and always wear sunscreen when outdoors. Results can last for up to three weeks, after which another session will be needed to maintain results.
