What is Buttock Augmentation?
Buttock augmentation is a procedure to improve the size, shape, and contour of the buttocks. This can be achieved through fat grafting, buttock implants, or a combination of the two. The Procedure
Whether a buttock implant or fat grafting is right for you will depend on your butt size and shape, your goals and activity level, the amount of fat that you have on your body, and your skin quality. You can speak with your surgeon to decide the right treatment option for you.
Buttock Implants:
During this procedure, an incision will be made toward the top of both sides of the buttocks, toward the bottom of both sides of the buttocks, or between both cheeks. The silicone implant will then be carefully placed in the muscle or above the gluteal muscle on each side. Incisions will be closed with layered sutures.
Brazilian Butt Lift:
During this technique, liposuction will be used to collect fat cells from a specific area of the body. This fat will then be processed and injected into the buttocks to help increase fullness and projection.
Recovery
Following buttock implants in Scottsdale, results will be immediately noticeable. As swelling decreases, results will continue to improve and incision lines will fade. Results from this procedure are permanent. Following a Scottsdale Brazilian butt lift, final results are often seen about one year after surgery as the injected fat takes.
