Candidates for Restylane

Healthy adults over the age of 21 who would like to smooth out facial lines and wrinkles, restore lost facial volume, or add plumpness to their lips can often benefit from Restylane fillers. The Treatment

To begin, your skin will be cleansed, and a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. Then, a fine needle will be used to artfully inject the Restylane filler of your choice into the appropriate areas. Treatment can take anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour, depending on the number of areas being targeted and the amount of change desired

Recovery

There is no downtime needed after your treatment. However, you may experience temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or itching at the injection sites. For the best outcomes, be sure to avoid sun exposure, alcohol consumption, and exercise for 24 hours after your treatment. Results can last anywhere from 6-12 months, depending on the filler used.
